Introductory training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills
An introductory training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills was conducted from May 26th – May 28th  2022 by the leader of our team, Dr. Filia-Anna Christodoulou, Clinical Psychologist, and Dr. Fragiskos Gonidakis, psychiatrist and Associate professor of Psychiatry at the Medical Department of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. The three-day training was geared towards Ayia Skepi staff and took place at the University of Nicosia. Participants had the opportunity to acquaint themselves with the skills of Dialectical Behavior therapy in an experiential way, while particular emphasis was given to their application with individuals who have substance dependency.
