"When I recognized my difficulties, before I even learned if there is a treatment, I felt helpless without hope. In the thought "to continue my life without the treatment" I felt afraid. The fact that I invested in myself and noticed that I increased slowly and steadily (with patience and insistence) the quality of my daily routine really moved me. It was a "gift to myself."
I have learned how to recognize, accept and regulate myself as I wish. How to communicate more effectively with me and those around me. How can I be afraid of life and want to live it at the same time. What is more, I transmit the knowledge of the skills to my child and I see it cope when she recognizes the difficulties of her life. I really came closer to myself and those around me.
I feel grateful to the DBT team, and proud of my self-improvement. I thank us all."
